refund policy
At MAX SEO, we dedicate significant resources, strategic planning, and expert labor to deliver high-quality, customized SEO services for our clients. Due to the bespoke and results-driven nature of our work, we have established the following refund policy to be transparent and fair to both parties.
- General Policy: Services are Non-Refundable
Our SEO, content marketing, and consulting services are non-refundable once work has commenced or a service period has begun. This is because:
- Our work involves immediate allocation of expert personnel, tools, and strategic resources.
- The labor and intellectual property provided cannot be “returned.”
- We begin incurring hard costs (software, tools, labor) on your behalf from the start of each billing cycle or project phase.
- Monthly Retainer Services
- Before Work Commences: If you cancel a monthly retainer before the first day of your billing cycle and before any strategic work has been performed, you may be eligible for a full refund of that cycle’s prepaid fee. This must be requested in writing.
- After Work Commences: Fees for any active or completed billing cycle (month/quarter) are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel, you will have access to services through the end of your current paid period. No prorated refunds will be issued for mid-cycle cancellations.
- Project-Based Services (e.g., SEO Audit, Website Migration)
- Cancellation Before Delivery: For fixed-fee projects, if you cancel before the final deliverable (e.g., audit report) is delivered and approved, you will be billed for all work completed up to the cancellation date at our standard hourly rate. Any remaining portion of the prepaid project fee will be refunded.
- After Delivery & Approval: Once a project deliverable is approved by you, the project is considered complete, and the fee is non-refundable.
- Satisfaction & Dispute Resolution
Your satisfaction is paramount. We commit to clear communication and professional execution as outlined in our Service Agreement.
- If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, we require you to notify us in writing immediately at contact@maxseo.com.
- We will work diligently in good faith to understand and resolve your concerns, which may include revising strategy, re-allocating resources, or other corrective actions as appropriate. Our goal is always a successful partnership.
- Exceptions
Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed. This may include:
- A clear, material failure on our part to deliver the core services explicitly promised in your Service Agreement, which we are unable or unwilling to rectify.
- Duplicate or erroneous charges made in error.
- How to Request a Refund or Address Billing Issues
